Free Community Booth Space

Serving thousands of area residents weekly and featuring more than 100 vendor companies throughout the year, #OTFMWichita brings fresh food, handmade goods, education, and fun to our community, while promoting small farms, sustainable agriculture, and Real Food ingredients in Kansas.

To help create a vibrant community hub, OTFM sets aside subsidized space at our Markets for community gardens, community groups, civic and non-profit organizations enabling them to promote and support their mission and outreach goals. Approved organizations may be allocated a space at the Market only after all approved vendors are accommodated and only on a case by case basis at the sole discretion of OTFM Management. Organizations approved for the space, should supply a display and any information it wishes to distribute. An interactive activity is also encouraged! No political, religious or what could be deemed activist campaigning is permitted.

  • We will tag or provide a link to your organization in our weekly social media event. (Reaching thousands of area residents)

  • We will most likely include that tag/link in at least one additional social media post prior to Market Day.

  1. CONDUCT AND APPEARANCE

Customer interactions and relationships are of vital importance to ensuring that a vendor’s goals and objectives are met and are equally important to the overall Market’s success. Behavior such as shouting, fighting, selling products in an aggressive way, or “hawking” detracts from the friendly atmosphere of the Market and will not be tolerated. Any activity considered to be damaging to the Market’s friendly and inclusive atmosphere (as determined by the Market Management) can result in that person or persons immediate elimination from the Market.

Market subsidized Community Booth space is an opportunity to be in front of OTFM customers, but not an invitation to actively approach customer’s as they are shopping. It’s important that customers experience a fun and inviting atmosphere, not one in which they are approached by participants and possibly feel obligated to talk about subjects that they didn’t choose to.

    h. Vendors believed to be under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol and behaving in an unprofessional manner may have their permission to sell at Market revoked.

C. APPEARANCE
