Chef’s demonstrations are one of the most popular events at the market.  Your generous donation will be acknowledged with prominent placement of your business or organization’s name and logo in the Chef Demonstration tent.  Your contributions help fund the equipment needed as well as publicity showcasing our fabulous line-up of celebrity chefs!

Market patrons enjoy listening to music while shopping, often lingering to watch the live performers.  The market will acknowledge your contribution by putting your business or organization’s name and logo on the music tent to be seen by everyone throughout the season.

Four special events bring celebrations to the market this year:

“Let Freedom Swing” – Memorial Day Saturday – honors our military with a special music provided by a local 14 piece swing band and swing dance instruction available for the uninitiated!
“Grilling with the Good Life Guy” – July 4 Saturday – Local celebrity Guy Bower from the “Good Life Guy” radio program broadcasts from the market and provides outstanding grilling demonstration.

“Chillin’ at the Market” – Late July Saturday – The market cools things down with ice sculpting, iced watermelon slices for patrons, seed spitting contest for kids, and cool music!!

“4th Annual Old Town Iron Chef Competition” – Late August Saturday –  Four local chef celebrities compete against each other using local foods to prepare a winning seasonal dish.
