Thank you for expressing an interest in our Farmers' Markets. Our goal is to build a centrally-located, community market with local produce and farmers as the centerpiece. Prepared food vendors and local artisans are also encouraged to participate in the Market, to help bring the full flavor of all that Wichita has to offer to the market. Your participation will contribute to the success of the Old Town Farmers' Market, the East Side Wichita Farmers Market, and it will provide you with income.
Our Farmers' Markets ("Market") are diversified Markets offering agricultural and non-agricultural goods for sale.
The Markets are operated for the purpose of being a Direct Marketing outlet for producers of agricultural products. These producers may sell their agricultural products directly to consumers providing they meet all minimum quality standards.
The Old Town Farmers' Market and the East Side Farmers' Market are managed, operated and controlled by the Wichita Farmers' Market Vendors Association, L.L.C.. The Wichita Farmers Market Vendors Association, LLC, managing partners, members, market managers, and all other designated agents shall implement and enforce all rules and regulations pertaining to the operation of the Market in a fair and equitable manner.
The non-agricultural goods add variety and enhance the festive ambiance of the Market. The same producer to consumer philosophy applies for all items sold at the Market, including non agricultural items.
The resale of all products is prohibited except as allowed by the Wichita Farmers' Market Vendors Ass. managing body.
