Need a lift to lunch?  Looking for a convenient
way to get from one end of downtown to another?
If so, you may find the midday Q-Line to be just
the ticket.  The Q Trolleys, so named because of
the reasonable quarter fare to board, provide quick,
quality transportation in the center city area.  There
are three routes that the trolleys run. The Blue Route, linking Delano and Old Town, circulates on 20 minute intervals up and down Douglas Street  Monday through Friday from ll:00 a.m. to 3 p.m.  The Green Route extends beyond Douglas to touch major office buildings, hotels, restaurants and other center city attractions.  The Green Route also runs from 11 a.m. to 3 pm Monday through Friday and circulates every 10 minutes.
On Saturdays, the Orange Route will offer service from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. connecting Downtown hotels, Old Town, Delano and the Museum District.  The Q stops at the Old Town Farmers’ Market at :10 and :40 past the hour. It’s a great opportunity to make a day of it right here in Wichita. Just bring a cooler to keep your market purchases fresh while you check out all the great attractions in Downtown Wichita.
Based on the success of last year’s trial run, the routes were expanded this year to offer quicker and better service. Look for sidewalks and intersections marked with a large “Q” logo. If you see one, it is a designated stop on the route. However, it’s easy to flag down The Q anywhere along the route, simply locate The Q as it approaches, then wave. The trolley will stop at the nearest intersection
The Q offers a unique transportation experience for residents and visitors alike.  If this is something you would like to see continue in the future, your feedback is important.  All the vehicles are equipped with survey forms seeking your input.  Surveys are also available online at www.theqline.com. Please take the time to “vote yes” for The Q by letting us know that you would like to see this be a permanent service or to give suggestion to make the system even better.
Don’t miss your “Q” to use this transportation service in Downtown Wichita.
